Peanut Butter & Oat No-Bake Dog Treats Recipe

These peanut butter and oat no-bake dog treats are my go-to homemade snack when I want something quick, healthy, and oven-free. They’re soft, chewy, and made with simple dog-safe ingredients I always have on hand.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup natural peanut butter xylitol-free
  • 2 –3 tablespoons warm water
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed or chia seeds optional

Method

  1. I add the rolled oats to a food processor and pulse until lightly ground.
  2. In a mixing bowl, I combine the oats and peanut butter until fully mixed.
  3. I slowly add warm water, one tablespoon at a time, until a soft dough forms.
  4. I roll the mixture into small bite-sized balls or press and cut into shapes.
  5. I place the treats on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Once chilled, they’re ready to serve to my dog.

Notes

Always check that your peanut butter does not contain xylitol.
Keep treats small, especially for puppies or small dogs.
Introduce new treats gradually.
